Thought I would send a pic of my husband's (Brian) wound. There is a double paned window at the top of the stairs of our two-story home. As he was descending, to go to work, he slipped and his elbow broke the interior pane. The cut was deep, but fortunately not too deep. Plenty of blood and broken glass.

I didn't think to call a squad, and drove him to hospital. However, I did think to grab my digital camera so that I could take a picture. By the way the gray or white you can see at the deepest of the wound is the fascia which covers the muscle. Cool, huh? Enjoy! Thanks, Chrissy

I was coming downstairs and missed the last step. I heard and felt the bones cracking as I came down. My accident resulted in surgery, a plate, 10 screws and 42 staples. These are pics taken at the Dr.'s office right before my first cast was put on. It was 4 days after my accident and surgery, and the incisions were still draining. Jennifer

My sister has a claw-like hand as a result of a birth defect. I am including a pic of the hand pre-accident, because one might mistake the deformity as part of her wounds. She was in a car accident two weeks ago. Icky.

I love your website. I have a few pics of myself that I would like to send to you and see if you would post them. These are from my Open Heart Surgery on Feb 1, 2005. I am 25 years old and had an Thoracic Ascending Aortic Aneurysm. The normal size of an aorta is about 2.5-3cm, mine was 6.8cm, dissecting and about to rupture. The Drs said that I probably wouldn't have made it through the day, and definantly not through the week.

I had my aortic root, ascending aorta, and aortic arch replaced with a Dacron Grapht. My aortic valve was leaking and splitting so they replaced it with a Mechanical One. It is good for about 185 years. Hope you can post my pics. Thanks

Details: 3" Passlode framing spike from an air-powered nail gun shot through my pinkie finger on my left hand exiting through the finger nail. Lots of blood. Fractured bone. Antibiotics.
